Laurea Marshall, Holistic Clinical Therapist & Speaker

Therapist, reiki healer, author, speaker, entrepreneur, homeschooling mom, and plant-based vegan are just a few ways to describe the many manifestations of my gifts and passions. My accomplishments and endeavors are true reflections of my dedication to healing myself, family and community through holistic health, education and conscious alignment of the mind, body and spirit. 

As a therapist who specializes in holistic healing, I’m committed to helping women break through the barriers that hold them back from living their fullest life in the most authentic ways possible.

My education and counseling career began over a decade ago in Atlanta, GA. I've since worked with clients of all ages, offering support and guidance to navigate life transitions, personal growth and mental/behavioral health challenges.

I've completed certification trainings in Clinical Trauma, Mental Health and Nutrition, and Naturopathy, allowing me to address the mental, physical and spiritual aspects of healing. My holistic approach helps me and other women of color achieve overall well-being, authenticity and empowerment -- redefining identity and success on our own terms.

What payment options do you provide? Are they secure?

Various secure payment options are available, such as debit/credit cards and HSA. Invoices compliant with insurance requirements for reimbursement can be provided upon request.

Is there a requirement for a long-term commitment to therapy?

No, the duration of our therapeutic relationship will be based on your individual needs and therapeutic goals. We'll reassess regularly to make sure it's serving you well.

What is the purpose of the free 15-minute consultation?

The consultation offers a no-obligation opportunity for us to determine if we're a good fit. It's essential for both parties to feel comfortable for therapy to be effective.

How flexible are the scheduling options? Are online sessions available?

Flexibility is important, especially with busy lives. Various time slots are available. Virtual sessions are also available to ensure that therapy fits into your life.

What is your cancellation policy?

Life can be unpredictable. A 24-hour notice is required for cancellation to avoid late cancellation fees. This allows us the opportunity to reschedule and ensures that the session time can be offered to another client if you can't make it.

Do you provide any resources or tools to help me between our sessions?

Yes, continuous growth and support are important. I offer worksheet, resources, and readings that align with the methods we're using in therapy, to extend your learning and healing outside our session times.

How do I know if I qualify for sliding scale payments?

It is important that quality mental and behavioral health care is accessible to all. If you do not have insurance, or you are low income, you may qualify for reduced fee rates. If you believe you may qualify, please complete the application at Affordable Therapy
